Our Story

Accidental Artisans was started 10 years ago by Charlie & his mum Sarah. Charlie was taught to turn wood on a lathe at the age of nine by his late grandfather. It proved to be an amazing gift to pass onto his young grandson & one which would shape Charlie’s life. Charlie’s love of wood started from that very early age & has never diminished.

Today a qualified joiner, Charlie’s greatest love is still to turn a simple piece of wood into a stunning object that is not only beautiful but also something that can be used every day.

About

Our Process

01

Material Selection

We hand-pick every piece of wood, seeking the most unique and figured pieces. We source from sustainable suppliers and local sawmills, ensuring both quality and environmental responsibility.

02

Design & Planning

Every project begins with a consultation to understand your vision, space, and requirements. We create detailed plans and mockups to ensure the final piece exceeds your expectations.

03

Handcrafted Creation

Using traditional woodworking techniques and modern precision tools, we carefully craft each piece by hand. Every joint, every finish, every detail is considered and executed with care.

04

Quality Assurance

Before delivery, every piece undergoes rigorous quality checks. We ensure structural integrity, finish quality, and that the piece meets our high standards and your specifications.

Our Values

Sustainability

We're committed to responsible sourcing and sustainable practices, ensuring our work has minimal environmental impact.

Quality

Every piece we create meets our exacting standards for quality, durability, and beauty.

Passion

We pour our heart into every project, treating each piece as if it were for our own home.
